Volunteer in the UK
There is great opportunity for people to get involved with DiA in the UK without having to go on a placement to India. This is a not-for-profit NGO which relies on enthusiastic volunteers who have an interest in development. We are looking for committed volunteers from all over the UK to get involved in helping us raise the profile of development education. No previous experience is necessary as appropriate training/guidance will be provided.
Due to the nature of our work, we would be asking for a little of your time on an irregular basis. It is an opportunity to take responsibility and be directly involved in the organisation, to contribute to DiA's objectives, to attend meetings, events and socials, and to gain experience working for a respected organisation in the development sector.

If you might be interested in one of these opportunities then please email Tom Willetts at: Uk_volunteers@developmentinaction.org for more details.
Our application form for UK volunteers is available to download here.
We are holding the next training for UK volunteers on the 5th July 2008.
