I've now lived in Hong Kong for 6 years and teach in a government school. I remained in touch with my DiA partner project, built them a website and returned last summer to Tamil Nadu where I witnessed great progress in the communities I once volunteered in. DiA remains the only fully-transparent, ex-volunteer led non profit project of its kind and I can't recommend the experience enough!" |

On return from her volunteer experience, which included her first experiences of fundraising, Leah completed a masters degree and started work as a fundraiser for a London based social development charity. After a number of successful fundraising roles, Leah is now Director of Fundraising at the national charity, Youth Music. |
