Jacqueline joined DiA in November 2016 with some international development experience, being one of two people who established a UNICEF on campus society at the university of Northampton. She started off as the Secretary of the society and later assumed the role of Vice-President.
Since then, she has held other voluntary roles with charities such as Save the Children and ZimWomen Association. In early 2016 she spent four months working as a Fundraising and Partnerships Volunteer at the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women.
Jacqueline has a keen interest in global youth issues, sports and youth development, philanthropy and issues affecting women and children. She believes that young people need to be more aware of issues in the world today and get involved in whichever way they can.
She holds a BA (Hons) in International Development from the University of Northampton and is currently studying an MA in Diplomacy and International Relations at Lancaster University. She is optimistic about this role and also grateful to be a part of DiA!
