An article for Newsround website: from an Indian child‘s perspective about the festival of Diwali, Ruth Summerfield. An interview with one of the partially sighted children at Sewa Mandir held with the help of one of the Masters students. DIA article along with Liz Horsefield (both Sewa Mandir volunteers, five month intake 2002), ‘A Day in the Life of Rahul Tiwari’, a day in the life of a blind schoolboy from Indore, Madyha Pradesh.

Apoovra: Wants to write a paper on the micro-credit by collecting case studies and follow a few women through a loan cycle to see if the loan has made a difference in their lives.

Lisa: Is intending on producing a slide show, probably as part of a class aimed at the new global citizenship syllabus. The material could be adjusted and presented in different ways to suit the audience.

Elinor: Is considering looking at the women’s credit unions.

Paula: Is working on an environment/pollution related study of Indore.

Richard: Is currently exploring different areas for his project
